BLUE DEVIL |
 |
"Duke" is the 18 hand
Irish Sport Horse gentle giant of the barn that will someday retire to be
Nicholas' "pony"...but that will have to wait until after his Rolex success.
After beginning his career by taking Jeff through the Intermediate level his
reins have now graciously been passed on to Emily (for the time
being...) Their 2007 season began in a strong fashion with a 1st & 2nd
at Intermediate and finished just as strongly with a solid 3rd place at the
Bromont CCI**. Plans for 2008 include runs at Advanced to prep for a
spring CCI***.

HERE'S TO YOU |
|
"Quincy" is our newest
addition purchased from Rebecca Polan in October after she had succesfully
started his eventing career giving him mileage through the preliminary
level. He and Emily proved to be quite a match placing 2nd and 3rd
already at the preliminary level with sights set on moving up to
Intermediate in the spring of 2008. |

PHINNEUS |
 |
"Phin" is a
Brickland Farm homebred by Masquerade out of Ruby. His lanky 16.1
hand body has taken some time to mature but is now really coming into its
own. After beginning his eventing career with two 2nd place finishes
at the novice level "Phin" travelled to the American Eventing Championships
where he finished on his dressage score of 22 to become Novice Horse
Champion! A move up to Training level to finish of the season leaves
us with high hopes for 2008. |

QUITE A LADY |
 |
"Prissy"
has certainly made her mark as another up and coming star for our team.
Owned by Jane Beshear and bred by family friend Mary Beth Fleming this
robust dark bay connemara joined Emily in January of 2008 and won her first
outing at training level event in March of 2008. |

ANNABEL |

"Annie" is a
Brickland Farm homebred by Pallas Digion out of Ruby. She is currently starting
her training and shows many of the athletic qualities similar to her
siblings.

MR. ROSS |
photo coming soon... |
"Ross" is Jeff's prize
hunt horse. He previously evented and is now happily converted to his
new occupation. Ross also doubles as a great pony horse for getting
the young horses confidently out and about.

CRUISING ON |

"Rusty" is a
Brickland Farm homebred by USA
Cruising out of Ruby. This handsome gray 2005 gelding has now begun
his transition into his future eventing career by starting his
ground-driving sessions. Watch for him in the USEA Future Event Horse
series in 2008.

VIEWFINDER |
photo coming soon... |
"Fiona" is a
Brickland Farm homebred by Carrig View out of Josephine.
Even though she was foaled in 2005 she has always had a very mature
expression that seems to say "I'm ready, when is it my turn to be ridden".
Well her turn has come and she is already happily walking around the farm
just as confident as can be.
